A. Every morning on his way to college, Robin would
stop and stare at the red car in the showroom.

A. Robin’s father agreed to buy him the car if he
got good grades in college.
c. Why did Robin get angry with his father?
A. When Robin topped his graduation class he
expected his father to gift him the red car instead he got a hymn book. This
annoyed Robin.
d. What happened when Robin went back to his old
house after many years?
A. When Robin went back to his old house after many
years, he entered his father’s study room and picked up the hymn book that was
still on the table. A car key dropped out of it which had the tag with the
dealer’s name, his graduation date and the words – ‘Paid in Full’.
e. Do you think Robin regretted his behaviour with
his father? Why do you think so?
A. When Robin came to his old house when his father
fell sick, he relived old memories and wished he had never left home.
f. What do you think this story is trying to tell
you?
A. The story sends out the message that we must
accept all gifts with good grace. You lose big things with small misunderstandings.
